"UkrPenoPolyEthylene" plant is one of the biggest Ukrainian producers of foamed polyethylene products in the Commonwealth of Independent States; the trademark of these products is "Polyizol".
Polyizol basic properties
POLYIZOL is the only one insulating material that combines hydro-, sound-, vibro- and heat insulating properties. Thanks to this unique combination of the insulating properties, products made of POLYIZOL can be used in the different economic areas: mechanical engineering, motor-car construction, shipbuilding, instrument-making industry, isolation of pipelines and communications, construction, packing, sports and tourist's equipment production ets. POLYIZOL is highly competitive with its physicochemical characteristics to such popular insulating materials as glass wool, basalt (mineral) wool, foamed plastic, пенофол ets., and with its ecological and some technical characteristics exceeds them. It doesn't produce allergic reactions.

Why is polyizol better?
Polyizol is the most reasonable insulating material in price.
Insulating layer, made of polyizol, takes the minimum volume at the maximal insulating effect in comparison with another insulating materials ("it saves the space");
Unlike glass wool, basalt wool ets., polyizol doesn't produce allergic reactions and irritation of the mucous membranes;
Polyizol is environmentally conscious, certificate and standardized material;
In insulating layers of polyizole can't appear rodents and insects (as, for instance, in layers of foamed plastic, glass wool, mineral wool);
Polyizol isn't hygroscopic and bibulous, the low dehumidification provides this material with stable and high heat-insulated characteristics on any service conditions;
Polyizol is very easy in working, its using doesn't require special equipment;
Perfect flexibility, resilience, elasticity, chemical and microbiological firmness, high amortizing characteristics, shock rating, ecological safety, durability (exploitation during 80 years without the lossless of its properties).
Types of products
Laminated sheet: layer thickness from 1 to 6 mm, multilayer - up to 50 mm; base sheet for the warm floor, plasterboard, reflecting insulation.
Foil-clad sheet: layer thickness from 1 to 6 mm, multilayer - tup o 50 mm; base sheet for the warm floor, plasterboard, reflecting insulation, screen insulation from the magnetoelectric radiation.

Sound and vibroinsulation (for accommodations, machinery, transport facilities);
Heat- and energy insulation (for accommodations, pipelines and communications, technique);
Damp-proofing;
Reflective insulation from/for the sources of light and thermal energy;
Tightening and amortization material for capsulation of joints ets.;
Packing material.
Construction: base sheet for the plasterboard, laminated floor, floor-cloth, parquet, vapour seal and warming of the roof, capsulation and tightening of cracks and joints;
Industry: isolation of pipelines of heat-transfers, air pipes, water pipes and sewage system, refrigerating and heating plants, air-conditioners, reflective coatings.
Sport and tourism: sports mats, fishing and tourist's sittings and rugs, life jackets and ring-buoys, bags and rucksacks.
Tube: Diameter from 8 to 100 mm, Wall 6, 9 and 13 mm
Rod: Diameter from 2 to 60 mm
Technical characteristics
Density (depending on the order of foaming from 25 to 50 kg/m²); Operational temperature range from 75 to +85°C; Thermal conductivity 0.044 — 0.051 Wt/m°K; Lowering index of the figured noise level (100 — 3150Hz): 22 — 28dB; Effective resistance to heat-transfer of the reflective insulation R=0.8-1.2m²°C/Wt; Water absorbing during 48 hours with the substance moisture 0.25-0.43%; Coefficient of vapour permeability: µ=0.00234mg/m·h·Pa; Relative remanent compression strain for 24 hours: of 30% — no more than 5%, of 50% — no more than 15%.
Color
Standard color
Sheet, rod - white; Laminated sheet and foil-clad sheet - white, foil and laminated film - silver; Tube - taupe. The production color depends on the used dyestuff; it can be different according to the customer's will.
Packing form
Sheet— in rolls of 25 m² to 420 m² (depending on thickness); Laminated sheet in rolls of 25 m² to 260 m²; Foil-clad sheet in rolls of 25 m² to 100 m²; Tube of 20 to 100 m packing with fragments in 2 m; Rod of 150 m packing with fragments in 3 m.
